There are several options for accessing Monte Mar from Playas del Coco. Some sections of the access roads are unpaved and

• We are working with the Municipality to secure permits for paving the primary access road.

• We are also evaluating a plan to create a short road through an established easement for accessing the Coco Bay Estates Club House and amenities.

Primary Entrance - The preferred route starts at the Maxi Pali on the main road prior to entering Coco. It travels a short distance through a residential area before continuing through a mostly forested area that ends at the entrance road to the property.

Coco Bay Estates Easement - Monte Mar offers its residents access to The Club at Coco Bay through a partnership, ensuring full use of the Club’s amenities at the same membership rates granted to Coco Bay residents. We also maintain an easement to install a convenient access; although this bridge has not yet been built, the right to construct it remains in place.

Auto Mercado Access - The most direct access

Las Canales Road - The most efficient access for central Coco is along the 1.4km unpaved Canales road, which travels through a residential area with a considerable amount of foot, bike, and car traffic.
